Continued

So as a matter of fact, although it's really lame, on Sunday I was anxious to meet up with two individual group of friends, separately on the same day. But later that night, I fell ill with a massive headache, serious blocked nose and an extremely sore throat. It took me over 30 hours to recover. (I overcame this by exercising.)

Then yesterday, since I have been craving ice cream for so long, I decided to go and get one and when I ordered, they accidentally gave me a chocolate shake too (I paid for it =.=). But what a shame it was, the ice cream left my hand when I slipped (but did not fall) on some slippery surface (it was raining before), but the chocolate shake survived. (I overcame this by purchasing sundaes instead, and checking my order.)

I want to attempt making a movie with some friends, which I developed in my mind last night.

Wants

This week hasn't been awfully great. Although it's the first week of holidays, things have turned out the way I hadn't hoped for.

On Sunday, I was looking forward to Monday, as I had plans to seal my alliance with two individual parties, separately in the same day, but I ended up going to war with a third party, for 30 hours. Even though I won, I was left with many casualties and wounds. "I've won the battle, but I've lost the war."

Today, something I had desired for a long time now, arrived. I got hold of it, but instead of gleeful spinning camera angle moments, my desire visualised the deathly consequences to me. It ended in tragedy. I lost what I had desired, but accidentally gained something I hadn't been expecting, neither hoping for. "When God takes something from you, he will redeem you something or equal value in return."

I have dramatised the two stories above. I'll tell you what they really were, tomorrow. In other words: "To be continued." =]

Bad Reception

Last night, our Kokoda group headed out to Mount Cootha for our night hike (also our last hike before the actual Kokoda challenge event). We met at our meeting point to meet at 6pm (=D) then set off at around 6.40pm. It was great fun. But whilst on the hike, my phone constantly notified me about people tagging me in their photos on Facebook (as it was sports carnival earlier in the day, and I looked like an old lady). I didn't mind being notified, but I minded that I wasn't able to see myself because there was no net reception. I also couldn't text or call (also a reception problem), so I soon became bored from boredom.

I did end up having a conversation which is worth sharing though (it made me sad =[ ) it goes like this:
vinnieboii: So what are you up to??
Legs: I'm working, because of you. You know how tired I am?? Just stop, tell them you can't keep going. Let me rest. Let yourself rest. Let US rest.
vinnieboii: I can't do that, we've already gone so far, we'll be at the end soon. We've only got 3 hours left.
Legs is now Offline.
vinnieboii said (10:57 PM): Naww =[

Phrase 2: Randomness

Actually, this phrase is not at all recent, I have thought about it for a very long time (2010 Christmas I think it was), but today is the first time I have used it, said it to someone. I said, "They call me 'Nothing', because I'm 'Anything', which makes me 'Everything'."

If you think about it, it does make sense. Here, if you can be anything, then you can be everything, and if you're everything, then you're nothing. That didn't help did it... try and explain it to yourselves, trust me, it does make sense. It could be extremely useful in many ways, I'm not going to say how, because it's not the same with everyone.

p.s. my new packet of chips popped today too =[

Chips

Today, I went to the canteen to buy me some yummy yummy food. As always, I had left a packet of chips from the day before in my bag (just in case I get hungry between the time I buy it and the next day), and whilst lining up, I still had my bag on (according to school rules, we cannot bring our bags into the canteen with us [you can probably guess why]). So whenever I reach a certain point in the line, I would place my bag down near the exit for convenience, but today I decided to throw my bag. Yes, something did pop, yes it was my packet of chips, yes it did spill everywhere and yes I did eat it (don't worry, its a new bag, perfectly clean =D).
Q. So what does this story teach us??
A. Weird kids do weird things.

Family Dinner, alone.

Today I finished my exams for the term, and for the semester, WOO HOO!! I'm finally free of school exams and assignments, for the next 4 weeks. Today, I also had Subway (first in a very long time, and it's the Subway that people eat, not the Subway that people ride aka the sandwich shop), it tastes so great as i had just no more worries. Then at work, manager gave me a chocolate bar (YEAH!!) then later on another manager gave me a sundae (DOUBLE YEAH!!), and just a reminder or small note, I work at McDonald's =]. And then, the downturn.

After weeks (actually 6 days) without having any form of McDonald's food in my mouth, I started to crave it. And today was the perfect opportunity for me to fulfill my desire, but no. Mum told me to come home early, so that we can have a family dinner before Dad goes off to work. Fair enough, I agreed, although the thought of McDonald's still lingered in my mind. But no! My stomach told me to eat, or else I was going to collapse or something, so I ate first while Mum tried to wake up Dad from his nap but he said he didn't feel like eating, and by the time Mum came to the table, I was already done (yes I was that hungry).

Quote 1: Another beginning

Quote will be something that I have heard from somebody else and thought it was funny or meaningful.

Today, I bludged around school as I had no assignments due or exams to sit, but yes, I was at school for the whole day XD. Anyways, I was following a few friends around the entire school day while they were working on their Art assignment. And on particular friend was bitching about how this other friend (male) is so... well, freak-like (I'm not going to use the word 'weird' because that is what I am), and don't worry, I have already asked for permission to blog this =D. She described him as (this is a rough translation by the way, as it was not in English) , "He's nothing like a man (suggesting he's queer). He's nothing like a woman (suggesting he's tomboy). So he must be fertiliser." It was probably funnier in my head...

Phrase 1: The Beginning

I think from now on, I will be categorizing my posts, since I can't be stuffed making up or telling the whole or shortening the story to blog, I will title the posts with certain names (because I also cbf naming a new post every time).

'Phrase' will be posts about a certain phrase that I have made up on the day I posted, or recently thought of, depending on my accessibility to blog and if I remember to blog it or not.

Today, a psychotic friend of mine stresses on how she hasn't completed her assignment that is to be handed in tomorrow and is yet to study or learn anything for her exam which is the day after. She keeps spamming me (through MSN) like a maniac, and although I have attempted to tell her to calm down many times, she doesn't actually follows it until today, when I said, "you ever seen a raging monkey peel a banana??" (I was trying to show her that nothing can be achieved through stress and panic). Then she quietened, and I'm assuming that it worked (hence she's working now), unless she just ignored me.

Hong Nguyen

Today I realised that my phone can't play videos unless I find an app for it. And so, when I told one of my dear friends, Hong Nguyen, she gave me this link, hoping that it would cheer me up. Well what do you know, it sure does. So I thought I should share with those who read my blog. Hopefully a lot. So if you like what I've shared, tell your friends, I only want more friends and views. Thank you. =D

Busted

By giving a clue without checking and examining it thoroughly, I have given myself away and blown my cover. I applaud you, Mande Le.

Karma says 'Hi'

Today I went hiking with our Kokoda Team. People kept slipping everywhere because of the rain and mud, and those who laughed or teased the people who slipped, well, they ended up slipping too. In Asia, we call this 'karma' (probably in western civilisations too). And while i was walking back, I was talking to myself and thought, "Karma came and said 'Hi' to me a lot today, so I replied, with 'Hey'.

I was walking down the hill when I lost my footing on the slippy mud, I froze, with my buttocks just centimetres from the ground. But I retaliated, I fought back with my hands, pushing that cold squishy brown earth and saved my pants from severe stains. Yeah. =D

Oh, and I also took some snaps too. I hope you people enjoy them. =]

Opening

HI ALL!! It's my first time on this Blog. No joke. I've left my old blog (handfuloftomorrow.blogspot.com) because of an email problem due to me having a Google phone now, and I have to make a gmail account. The phone is GREAT by the way, you should all look into it. The Samsung Nexus S, I like the games. ^^ HOORAY FOR ANDROID!! I hope I'll get more views, and that my friends find me. Not because of me, but because we're friends (new friends too).
